Belonging to God’s people is a gift we should never use to make others feel small.
In Ephesians 2:11–13, Paul reminds Gentile believers that they were once separated from Christ and outside Israel’s covenant promises. Through Jesus’s blood, they have been brought near.
Their welcome rests on His sacrifice.
That gives us reason for deep gratitude—and a challenge to examine how we welcome fellow believers.
Do we make room for someone unfamiliar with church routines? Do we listen before judging their background?
Jesus paid dearly to bring His people near. Let’s receive one another with love.
