What If They Need Mercy More Than They Need a Lesson?
Mistakes happen. People disappoint us. Plans get messed up. And sometimes we have every reason to be frustrated.
But Jesus gives us a different response: mercy.
Mercy doesn't mean pretending the mistake didn't happen. It means remembering how patiently and graciously our Heavenly Father has dealt with us—and choosing to extend that same grace to someone else.
At Gospel Craft Co., we're reminded that faith isn't just something we put on shirts or engrave into wood. It's something we're called to live out when things don't go according to plan.
“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”
— Luke 6:36 (NASB)
Maybe someone in your life doesn't need another reminder of what they did wrong today. Maybe they need someone to show them what God's mercy looks like.
Who has shown you mercy when you didn't deserve it?
